Update your existing appliances with RightPlug™ technology to enable SafePlug receptacle appliance overload and shock protection.*
For use on appliances that do not meet the plug blade length requirements for SafePlug Tag use.**
* In order for appliances to work with SafePlug receptacles they must be RightPlug compliant by updated them with SafePlug Tags (containing RightPlug Technology).
**The use of SafePlug Tags is recommended for retrofitting appliance cords with RightPlug Technology. In instances where the application of a SafePlug Tag does not pass the blade length gauge requirements a SafePlug Cord is recommended.
Alternative to SafePlug Tags. To enable SafePlug receptacle shock and appliance overload protection all appliances must be upgraded with RightPlug compliant SafePlug Upgrade Tags or Cords (RightPlug compliant).
It is recommended that SafePlug Tags be used whenever possible. However, if your appliance plug blades do not meet the minimum length requirement (as indicated on the SafePlug Blade Length Gauge) use of a SafePlug Cord is recommended.
